Bridgewater, CT
Town number nine is Bridgewater. I’m really making progress! Only 160 more to go. Located in Litchfield County, Bridgewater was established in 1856, and has a population of 1,662 souls. It is a popular weekend getaway for wealthy New Yorkers. My feeling is that this is not uncommon for towns
Eastford, CT
Number eight in my quest to visit every town in CT is Eastford. Located in Windham County, Eastford was established in 1847. It has a population of 1,649, and a land area of 28.89 miles. Eastford was creatively named for its location East of Ashford, from which it broke off.
Norfolk, CT
My goal is to visit every small town in CT. Today I visited Norfolk. Established in 1758, with a population of only 1,588, Norfolk is Connecticut’s seventh smallest town by population. However, with an area of 45.31 square miles, it is larger in size than Bridgeport and Hartford combined. For

Number six on my list of small towns is Scotland, CT. Located in Windham County, and incorporated in 1857, Scotland has a population of 1,576, making it the sixth smallest town in the state. Covering 18.61 square miles, it is also the smallest town by area that I have visited
